Because our chocolates are handmade and made without unnecessary preservatives, they have an optimal shelf life of 3 weeks after opening. For best taste and quality, it is best to store them in a cool, dry and dark place between 16°C and 18°C. Here are some ways to keep your chocolates in excellent condition:
- Heat causes chocolate to spoil faster than normal - Avoid humidity and direct sunlight.
- Never leave your handmade chocolates in the car.
- Do not store near strong odors.
- Storing in the refrigerator is possible in a well-sealed plastic bag.
Our chocolates are best stored in their original packaging in a cool dark place between 16°C and 18°C. Is it much warmer? Then you can also store them in a tightly sealed plastic bag in the fridge. To fully release the flavours, remove the chocolates from the fridge some time in advance. Let the chocolates come to room temperature in their closed packaging to avoid condensation. From the fridge, this takes about 2 hours. This will give them the ideal temperature to melt in your mouth.
