1. Identity of the entrepreneur
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all online orders placed with JW Artisan Chocolatier, via the webshop at www.jurgenweckx.be,
2. Product information and availability
2.1 JW Artisan Chocolatier sells artisan chocolate and other food products made with fresh ingredients and a limited shelf life.
2.2 All product information, including ingredients and allergens, is clearly stated on the product page.
2.3 The products offered are available while stocks last.
3. Prices and payments
3.1 All prices stated are in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
3.2 Customised prices or invoices can be provided for companies on request.
3.3 Payment is made securely via the payment methods offered on the webshop. An order is only final upon receipt of payment.
4. Delivery and collection
4.1 Delivery is possible within Belgium and other selected countries.
4.2 Shipping costs are stated separately during checkout.
4.3 Chocolate is a sensitive product. JW Artisan Chocolatier packs and ships with great care, but is not responsible for melting or loss of quality due to extreme temperatures or absence on delivery.
4.4 Collection is possible by appointment or at fixed collection times.
5. Perishable goods & returns policy
5.1 JW Artisan Chocolatier's products are perishable and are specially prepared to order.
5.2 In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal is excluded for goods that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life.
5.3 Therefore, JW Artisan Chocolatier does not accept returns of food products.
5.4 Sustainability & Environmental Considerations: Excluding returns not only helps prevent food waste, but also reduces unnecessary carbon emissions and packaging waste. We encourage conscious purchasing and strive together for a more sustainable world.
6. Complaints and liability
6.1 Do you have a complaint about your order? Please contact us within 24 hours of receipt via hello@jurgenweckx.be and attach photos if possible.
6.2 In the event of damage or error in the delivery, JW Artisan Chocolatier will always look for a suitable solution.
6.3 JW Artisan Chocolatier is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of turnover.
7. Orders by companies (B2B)
7.1 For companies, specific conditions such as adjusted prices, larger quantities and payment by invoice may apply.
7.2 B2B orders are binding after confirmation of quotation or order.
7.3 Personalised or customised products cannot be cancelled or returned after the start of production.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 All texts, photos, designs and product names on www.jurgenweckx.be are the property of JW Artisan Chocolatier and may not be used or reproduced without prior written permission.
9. Applicable law and disputes
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
9.2 In case of disputes, the court of the district where JW Artisan Chocolatier is established has jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.
